Deep Tissue Massage

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Slow, deep strokes will be used to release built-up tension in the muscles and the connective tissues.

The therapist will use the heel of her hands, forearms, elbows, fists and fingers to apply pressure. Friction will be applied with the fingertips or elbows to target specific areas of soft tissue damage (such as adhesions).

Finally, percussion techniques will help the tissues to relax and blood flow to be stimulated.

The session will finish with relaxing effleurage (lighter strokes) and a grounding foot massage.
